THINKING FORWARD

Hereford is fast becoming a home for inquisitive and creative minds. Last year NMiTE launched as the first new university in the UK in decades. It’s built to attract more female students, teach engineering through problem-solving and project work with local business - and it's been hailed by educators as a potential game-changer in technical further education. It’s located in Hereford, just down the hill from the world-renowned Royal National College for the Blind, and Hereford College of Arts.

The latter is a higher- and University-level college that’s home to a talented student body that counts pop stars and amongst its alumni and this exhibition amongst its recent projects and pop-up shows. The college will soon be joined by Black Mountain College on the western edge of Herefordshire which has the bold mission of teaching the arts through the dramatic landscapes of the Brecon Beacons.
