Create/Fuel 2019 is a one-day event that will provide people in Herefordshire aged 16 to 30 with the inspiration, the practical advice and the know-how they need to kick-start a career in the creative industries.
The event is designed for local students; creative people in the early stages or middle of a creative career; and those who are still undecided as to what their future might offer.
There'll be representatives from Herefordshire’s business, cultural and education communities taking part too and opportunities on the day for those people to meet and mingle with younger people who have something to say about Herefordshire arts, heritage and creative scene.
The ambition of Create/Fuel 2019 is for each person who attends to leave having made new connections, armed with new ideas. It'll also showcase the county's Creative Industries; and connect wider business sector with the young people who are essential to the UK’s growing creative sector.
The event will start at 2pm and lead up to an evening evening after dark.
This will be the second Pride of Place conference from Herefordshire’s a Great Place, co-funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund, Arts Council England & the Elmley Foundation. These annual conferences in Herefordshire bring national speakers and energised communities together to explore, challenge and revision thinking around rural culture.
