Writing
The Courtyard Writing Room present: Solo

Solo, a performance of new work, is described as "an eclectic mix of three-minute plays, ranging from a story of a mother’s visit to her daughter’s school as part of her trauma therapy, to a fleeting encounter between a female soldier and a stranger whilst on exercises in a field in North Germany."

It's good stuff from The Writing Room, which is a collaboration between Feral Productions, Open Sky Theatre and The Courtyard, as part of its adult participation programme.

Treasure Tales and Hidden Hoards

This talk - billed as a behind the scenes investigation of the Herefordshire Viking Hoard discovery - is part of the Herefordshire Hoard roadshow, which is drumming up support to bring the hoard back to Herefordshire. The hoard was illegally excavated in 2018, and many items flogged before the crime was discovered.

Speaking at Herefordshire Archive and Records Centre on July 21, Peter Reavill - one of the principle archaeological investigators on the Herefordshire Hoard - will explore the crime and explain what is treasure and why it is so important to the story of Herefordshire.
