Sidney Nolan launches contemporary art group for over 25s

Inspired by the success of their recent Cultivate programme for young would-be creatives, Sidney Nolan Trust is launching a new contemporary art group for over 25s.

Called Abet the new group will "offer a space for those with an interest in the arts, to come together with others to develop their creative thinking and making skills through discussion, research, and experimentation."

The Trust, which promotes the work and legacy of Australian artist Sidney Nolan who lived the final years of his life at The Rodd in Presteigne, said the first session on October 14th will test out whether there is an appetite for the programme.

Sessions will be led by artist Emma Posey and Antony Mottershead, Creative Producer at Sidney Nolan Trust).
